Season Information
For the upcoming season, DYBC plans to field two teams at each grade level, with a maximum of 10 players per team. Sixth grade will have two “select” squads, while seventh and eighth grades will each have an A and B team. We will work to schedule games, scrimmages, and tournaments appropriate to each team’s competitive level so that every group has a fun, challenging, and rewarding season.

The season will run from early January through early April. Players can expect two team practices each week along with one weekly all-club training session bringing together players from all three grade levels.

Teams will participate in approximately 4–5 tournaments during the season, primarily throughout the Four Corners and Western Slope, with a possible trip to Denver. The season will conclude with DYBC hosting our own tournament in partnership with the Durango High School boys basketball program.

Season fees are expected to be approximately $400 per player and will cover uniforms, gym rentals, and tournament fees.
